What do you use on your skin?

For almost 25 years I have had problems with my skin.

I have tried almost every product on the market and what I started to notice was the more products I tried the more my pores seem to clog. Over time my pores got bigger and bigger.

How could I be using a mask regularly and still have clogged pores?

Mineral Oil is a common ingredient in many skin care products.

I recently came across a product line that does not have mineral oil, dyes or chemical fragrances. They are also free of animal products and have not been tested on animals. To be honest I wasn't sure if it was going to be just another marketing gymick with "average" products.

I have been using quite a few of the products in the skin care line and my skin has never looked better. My pores are now more than half their size and look fantastic!!!

I can't even imagine how good my skin will look when I start using the makeup line.

If you would like to know more about these hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested products send me an email at rebeccad@myarbonne.com

Finally an eye cream that really works

I have chronic sinus. This means that I have very dark circles under my eyes, no matter how much sleep I get.

I have tried medications, creams and concealers.

I thought what I was using was working ok, but with two young children and five years of being sleep deprived was starting to show.

When I saw the before and after pictures for this product I thought they were impressive. I didn't think I would see as impressive results as I am younger and have always used products to protect my face.

As soon as I got home I gave it a try and I love it.

I woke up the next morning and my eyes already looked better. I think they are looking better by the day.

I have included a before and after shot after using the product for just 2 weeks on one eye. This is from the corporate website that I think shows just how great this product is.

If you want to know more about this fantastic product line that is not tested on animals and does not contain animal products contact me at rebeccafdoll@gmail.com

Ride Safer Travel Vest by Safe Traffic System, Inc.

Anyone who travels or has multiple children in car seats and needs more space this is fantastic. I hated having to take our kids car seats with us on vacation. But there was no way I wanted them in a vehicle without being properly restrained. Yes, I know it is the law in the US, but when traveling in South America that is not always the case. It just never made sense to bring a full size car seat. Now there is an alternative that is safe, and compact in comparison.

The Ride Safer Travel Vest by Safe Traffic System, Inc. is a cool and safe alternative to standard booster seats. The Ride Safer Travel Vest is designed to surround its passenger with energy-absorbing materail to protect your child from crash force injuries.
Features:
  • Meets or exceeds applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. (FMVSS 213)

  • Adjustable to fit growing children

  • Can be used in all rear seat positions including the center seat (with included tether if lap belt only)

  • Improved safety & design over currently available products

  • Positions seat belt in front of child

  • Portable, compact and easy to use

  • Reflective trim for low light conditions

  • Made of soft fabric and padding, instead of hard plastics

  • Your child can continue to wear it outside of the car

  • Repositions lap belt below abdomen, protecting internal organs

  • Deformable multi-layered clip for Top Tether System and Shoulder Belt Positioner

  • Small Size fits children ages 3-6, 35-60 pounds and 38-52 inches tall
Large Size fits children 5-9 years old, 50-80 pounds and 45-57 inches tall

We have used ours in the shuttle too and from the airport. It is now being used for our child when he is in the shuttle bus in the afternoon after school. I no longer have to worry about a 5 year old on the bus without a suitable restraint. This is very easy to use and as he can put it on before the bus arrives all that is left to do is thread the seatbelt.

The height of the child is important for this restraint as children on the shorter end of the range may find that it sits too high up. We had to wait until our son was a little taller for him to use it.

Follow this link for pictures and to order from one of my online favorites. This is a small business and the two owners are always willing to answer questions and find out more information if needed. Ride Safer Travel Vest

    Peg Perego Tender (double stroller)

For anyone who has two children close together it is a challenging task trying to pick the right double stroller. I looked at many in the store and at parents and out and about and I really couldn't find anything I liked in the lower price ranges.
Why? One child was always left unsupported, or I had to remove so many things to fold the stroller and it still wouldn't fold flat to fit in my trunk and they were heavy!

Now some of you may be surprised that I am not recommending the Duette. Don't get me wrong I love the stroller but I would have had to buy a bigger vehicle to use that, and I would have left the house a lot less; as I believe the Duette requires that you have to detach the seats each time before you put it in the vehicle.

I am 5'2 and have a small frame so I loved that the Tender weighs only 28 lbs.
It also folds flat and could fit in my trunk. I also loved that my little girl could lie in the back in virtually her own basinet and our son could have a good nap up front and I didn't have to worry about him falling out.

It did take me a little while to find a diaper bag I liked to use with this one, as my hubby didn't think $80 was a good price for the Peg diaper bag. With the new S hooks I think you could attach almost any diaper bag.

Here are some of the other things I love about this stroller:
  • You can attach the car seat (Peg Perego and not included) so baby can face you while older brother or sister views the world ahead!

  • Large swivel wheels for easy steering

  • Folds easily and compactly

  • 5-point freedom of movement harnesses for security and well-being of the children

  • Front child tray and adult cup holder

  • Large removable hoods that zip open for ventilation

  • Luxury padded spacious seats

  • Removable, hand washable upholster

  • All-wheel suspension, front swivel wheels and rear wheel brakes

  • New full sized, aluminum chassis with styled oval tubing

  • 3-position backrests and two position footrests

  • 2 separate baskets for necessities

  • The only negative for this stroller (I had the 2005 model) is that I think the back wheels wear out a little too fast/unevenly on cobble stones/pavers. This could be due to the insane speed my husband walks and his crazy steering as well. That being said, it was only around $25 to get replacement rear wheels when I checked with Peg. If you live in a town with pavers/cobblestones you might want to consider the Duette or a stroller with air filled tires.

Our kids are 20 months apart and we got a good 2 years out of this stroller, and the fabric washed extremely well. We could have gotten a little longer out of it, but our oldest is a climber and was always climbing over the front bar.

If you live where there is a lot of rain and/or wind I highly recommend using the Protect-A-Bub rain and wind cover with this stroller. Folds up much smaller and doesn't sweat like than those plastic ones. We tested it in a downpour and it worked!

AmeriPlan - Look who fired her boss!

    Hello,

Just wanted to share the latest success story from our team. Her name is Kristie and she is a single mom. Kristie's goal was to hit $25,000 in lifetime residual income so she can fire her boss and come home to her children and she did it!

    Congratulations to KRISTIE WOOTEN
for FIRING her boss and for
    moving up to SESD!!!

Ameriplan will deliver on their promise.

YAAAAAYYYYYY I finally did it!!!! GOODBYE CORPORATE AMERICA!!!!! Good bye cell block, Goodbye .32 cent raises, Goodbye fluorescent lighting and Goodbye time clocks!!!!!! Adios, Ciao, Sayonara, Arrivederci, Peace Out!! YOU ARE SOOOO FIIIIRRREDD!!!!!!! I cant say that I am surprised at all that this is happening. For me it has never been a matter of IF but a matter of WHEN!!!

I have had the absolute honor of meeting MANY FAHT members but for those of you who don't know me yet . I'd like to take a second to share a little about myself. This might be a little wordy but I just have so much to say in hopes that it will inspire at least one person into believing that they can do this too!!!! I started AP in May of 2006. I was a stay at home mom of two beautiful angels. Brittani is seven and Landon is four. I was in a very unacceptable marriage and I was pretty broken down. I was trapped financially but most of all emotionally. I needed to find financial independence and make a positive change for my kids and I. It was so very important to me that my kids grow up in a positive and safe environment. So I started looking for a "Plan B". I searched for work from home for about two years. I came across Janie's ad in January of 2006 but I was extremely skeptical. For the next four months, that ad kept slapping me right in the face. I finally thought, "I am going find some bad things out about this company so I can stop thinking about it." So I started my research and what I found was the complete opposite!! My Doctor, Pediatrician, OB/GYN and Dentist accepted our plans. And then I noticed the company had elite credentials and that's when I got excited. THIS was the real deal!!! So I requested an interview, Janie called me and I signed up on the spot. I stayed up ALL night long doing the training and started making calls the next day. I had found my Ameri "PLAN B"!!!!

This company has changed my life!! I look at myself now and I'm not even the same person I was two years ago. I have grown so much personally. I have conquered so many fears from from being a wife in fear, having a huge phone fear, having a "leading a conference call" fear, having a talk on stage fear, etc. All that is GONE!!! BUH BYE!! This has been so much more than a business for me. How could I lose with a support group like the FAHT!!!! I have made so many life long friendships that have been a blessing to me!! I have been recognized for sooo many accomplishments with AP and I'm always so grateful each time because in Corporate America, you don't get recognized for anything except for what you're doing wrong!!!

My journey with AmeriPlan has been amazing but it has not always been easy. I've told Janie that last year was the worst AND best year of my life. I faced a very hard time in my life but made a decision to STAND UP AND FIGHT rather than falling down!!! I went through a very nasty divorce, was literally scared into moving out of my house, my daughter had to switch schools and I had to get a full time JOB and put my little boy in daycare for the first time in his life. Up until today my days went a little something like this. I would wake up at 5:00am, get everyone up and out to school. I had to peel a screaming three year old off of me every morning at daycare. His arms would be reaching out to me and he would scream over and over again "mommy no go." Then I would sit in traffic for an hour and a half just to get to work by 8:00. I would make my prospecting calls on my fifteen minute breaks, my 30 minute lunch breaks and my hour and a half drive home in traffic. I would get home by 6:30, see my kids for an hour and a half, put them to bed and start working AP again until about midnight, sometimes later. Then I would wake up and start all over again. Was it hard work??? Absolutely! Did I fall asleep on my computer some nights??? Absolutely! Did my house get messy? Absolutely! Did I feel guilty about not spending a lot of time with my kids??? Absolutely! Did I ever wonder if I was doing the right thing??? Absolutely NOT! I KNEW that this company was going to make a HUGE difference in my family's life and that it was going to bring me home again!! I knew my situation was only temporary!! Making sacrifices for a year to come home versus working at a JOB for 40 more years was the best decision I have ever made in my entire life!!! My kids have a full time "happy" mommy again!!!! A full time mommy with a full time work from home income!!!! Oh my goodness what an incredible blessing!!

So many people have contributed to helping this dream come to pass for me. My mom has been my biggest cheerleader with my AmeriPlan business. She also has the vision of what this company is going to do for our family! She encourages me everyday to go all the way with it!! She has been my traveling nanny so that I can continue to attend events and grow! She has helped me through so many hard times this year. Thank you mom!! You are a strong, intelligent, business minded woman and an AMAZING mom and you are setting a fantastic example for me! I love you so much!!

And to my amazing team. Thank you for ALL that you do!!! I would not be here without you!!!! You make every day of this business fun for me. It is my mission to help bring all of you home!!!! And now that I'm home, I can help you even more!! Patti Triplett, Traci Wright, Amy Sun and Maria Rappa (a.k.a. My Shining Stars, My Power Players and My Best Friends). I love you guys!! Thank you for supporting me and encouraging me every step of the way!!! I could NOT have done this without you! You're next girls!!!!

Thank you so much to the FAHT NSDs that have paved the way for us and have proven to us that this can be done!!! Thank you for cheering me on all the way to the top!!! What an amazing group of strong, independent women getting it done!! You are an inspiration to me!! Becky and Regina, your stories of making calls out of your cars while you were still working your full time job is one thing that really motivated me to keep going everyday! Thank you for leading by example!

Janie and Michael, my enrollers, my mentors and my inspiration, (I knew I would start to cry when I started this part) You are two of the most amazing people I have ever known. You are so giving and so dedicated to your FAHT. We are so lucky to be on this team!!! When I told you over IM at 1:00 in the morning that I was getting a divorce and had to get a FT job, my phone rang within a minute and there you were encouraging me and telling me this will only be temporary, that I would have an amazing future with AP!! You were right!!! I hope you realize how much of a positive impact you have had on my life. I owe all of my success to you!! Thank you soooo very much for investing in me in every way and for always believing in me!!!!! I know your mission is to bring parents home.....well Mission accomplished!!!!!! My kids and I are forever grateful to you!! I love you guys!! When I told Brittani that I finally fired my boss, she started jumping up and down with the biggest smile and her eyes full of tears. Later that evening I saw her writing a note, I walked over and it was a note to you Janie!! You know Brit loves you....LOL Here's what the note said (I will include spelling errors & everything):

    Dear Jannie,

Thank you for letting my mommy Quit her Job Because I wanted her pick me up from scool every day. And because so we can play in the morning when Im done getting dressed and not rush all the time. And so I don't have to wait hours for her to come home and call her all the time asking when she is coming home.

    Love,

    Brittani

To my little "Whys", Brittani and Landon. You are my life and my everything! Everytime I had a discouraging moment or was so tired that I didn't think I could make another call, I thought about you and it got me right back on track! Brittani, thank you for always jumping up and down with me and screaming "And THAT'S how it's done" with me when I enrolled someone and for harassing me if I didn't enroll anyone that day....LOL Boy are you a Mommy Jr.!!! Watch out world!!! Thank you also for writing little notes and sticking them in my planner to read when I got to work telling me "Good luck on firing your boss today" with a pretty picture of us holding hands in front of our house. Guess what baby??? MOMMY'S HOME!!

For anyone out there working toward this goal, you can totally do this!!!! Believe in yourself and work your butt off!! Fight to get your life back! Fight for the life that you and your family deserve!!! The end result is soooo worth it!!!! AmeriPlan absolutely Delivers on its Promise! I am living proof. How many single moms do you know that can be home full time with their kids AND make a full time income?? This is a dream come true!!!! Thank you AmeriPlan!!!!

NEXT STOP, NSD, 50K and MANY fired bosses on my team!!!!

    Many blessings,

    Kristie W. - Florida

I like to be able to cook nice meals, and am not one for spending hours in the kitchen. However I do want my food to be tasty and for the family to enjoy it.

I came across Tastefully Simple about 4 years ago. The company motto is
"The food you love, the time you deserve." TM

    The Company Store

When our son was a baby I wanted to get a solid color crib sheet. The ones at the baby store barely fit over the mattress and would fall apart after a few months in the wash. I didn't want to pay $100's for a set when I only wanted the sheet, so my online search began.

I discovered the Company Store. At first I was skeptical as their prices were a little higher but I took the chance anyway. The crib sheets were great, nice fabric, deep and they didn't fall apart in the wash! Finally I found what I was after.

When he was a toddler he started waking up during the night. I thought it might have something to do with those cold plastic mattresses, so again I went searching for the ideal product. To my surprise I ended up back at the Company Store. I found a down alternative mattress topper for our crib mattress. It met my needs of keeping him warm along with allergy prevention, and it is machine washable.

Since then I have bought more crib sheets, a down alternative and washable crib size comforter, down alternative and washable child size pillows and more.

They have two online stores and magazines, one aimed and the Kids line and the other the adult line. They are a Wisconsin company so you are supporting an American company as well.

Great products, great quality, huge product line. Will be shopping there again.

    VistaPrint

I was recently looking for an affordable way to create postcards for one of my home businesses. I wanted something that looked professional and didn't cost a fortune.

I was referred to VistaPrint by a colleague and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

They regularly have a selection of FREE products. Yes, all you have to do is pay for shipping.

I could have ordered my 100 free double sided post cards and just paid for shipping, but I really wanted at least 250. In the end I was able to order 1000 post cards and 140 FREE address labels for less than $72. I had expected to wait the full 14 days for my items to arrive due to my good deal.

The order arrived in just 5 days! I will definately be ordering from them again.

    Take a look for yourself.

    Peg Perego - Pliko P3

Of the 5 strollers we have owned in the past 5 years that has got to be the most versatile of them all.

When we had our first child I wanted a stroller where he would face me. There were not a lot of options so we got a Graco with a reversible bassinet. It took up almost our whole trunk and that was OK I loved to see my baby when out walking, that was until our first vacation. All of a sudden the folded size of the stroller became an issue when we had to take taxis and we had our luggage.

As soon as we got home I started looking for a better alternative as we were going on another vacation in just 4 months.

After much searching we decided on the Peg Perego - Pliko P3. I would describe it as the luxury umbrella stroller. Sure there are lighter and more compact umbrella strollers but I didn't see why we had to give up stroller features to get something the folded more compact.

Here are some of the things I love about this stroller:

    • 4-position backrest, 2-position footrest
    • Strong, lightweight aluminum frame
    • Handle for carrying when folded
    • Removable, hand-washable upholstery
    • Large, removable and adjustable hood with window and new storage pocket
    • Child's tray can be opened or removed completely
    • Unique 5-point "Freedom of Movement" harness for security and well-being of the child
    • Built-in rear footboard provides safe ride for 2nd passenger
    • Adjustable handle heights

The only features this stroller didn't have that my full-size stroller had where an oversized basket, a parent console and it didn't allow baby to face me but I was willing to sacrifice those things.

The stroller has clips that allow you to attach their diaper bag to it, so the basket size issue was resolved. It also comes with a large removable parent cup holder. Just remember to take it off before you gate check it.

Peg Perego does make another version of the Pliko that allows baby to face the parent. Unfortunately it was not available in the US at the time and I was concerned about having warranty issues in another country. I believe it is called the Pliko Switch Completo and has a reversible seat.

There have been some improvements to this stroller since we bought it in 2003 and I think it only continues to get better. We are still using ours and it works well and still looks great. You have to remember that the manufacturer recommends regular maintenance. So if you are having problems with steering or folding, do the recommended maintenance.

    BuyCostumes.com

If you need a costume then this is the place to go.

We needed a pirate costume for our little girl for a cruise we were going on. I thought for sure I was going to have to pay a fortune for what I was after, and I wasn't sure if anyone would have a costume in March.

We got the cutest pirate outfit for her at a very reasonable price. Very good quality product and there were no issues with purchasing or shipping.

    I would highly recommend them.

    Baby Jogger - City Series

    Product Description:
Our City Series swivel wheel strollers have quickly become the envy of the stroller industry. It's the only swivel wheel stroller on the market that utilizes our patented Quick-Fold Technology, making the city Series the only strollers you'll ever need. Sleek alloy wheels with true 12" inflatable tires allow the stroller to go places most other strollers only dream of going. Combine that with all of the features that make your life easier, such as an adjustable handle, one-step recline system, multi-position canopy, machine washable fabric, and the City Series can truly take your child from birth and beyond.

    Review:
We have tried many strollers over the past 5 years and this one is great for older kids for walks and for those long days at an amusement park. With it's higher weight limit and all round larger seat our 4 year old can still lay down and take a rest. Being a jogger stroller it is very easy to steer and light to push. I think the best thing about this stroller is the way it folds. Just pick it up using the handle in the seat of the stroller and it folds flat. The only minor negative I have found is that when we were on a cruise the wheels were too wide to fit thru the cabin door. We gate checked it on our last flight and put it in one of the new GATE CHECK car seat carry bags. It took a bit of manouvering but it just fit. We got this when our oldest was 3 so I don't have any experience using this with younger children.

    Child Aviation Restraint System (CARES)

    Product Description:
The AmSafe Child Aviation Restraint System (CARES) is the world's first aviation alternative to a car seat. CARES is an innovative belt-and-buckle device that attaches directly to the airplane seatbelt.

Simple to install, adjustable to fit virtually any size airplane seat and usable in most seats with the exception of those in exit rows. CARES has been certified by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for children weighing between 20-44 pounds sitting in their own seat. Passengers with children can now check the bulky car seat through as luggage and take CARES on board.

Weighing only one pound and fitting into a small carrying case, this child restraint provides a low-cost, easy and effective solution for improved child passenger safety. CARES is the first alternative aviation child safety device to be certified by the FAA for all phases of flight - taxi, take-off and landing.

    Review:
We have travelled on planes with an infant carrier, car seats and the CARES and I would have to say that CARES is the lightest and simplest product to have to bring on the plane. It fits in a 6" travel sack and weighs only 1 lb! It was a nice feeling to know our kids were safe and secure during take off, landing and turbulence. They didn't want to stay strapped in the whole flight but without the bulky car seat we all had a little more space to move around.

At around $80 for each CARES if you don't fly a lot you may want to consider renting. There are a few renters on eBay with the average trip costing just $15 + shipping depending on the length of your vacation.

If you need your car seat at your destination you can check it with your luggage and not have to carry it around the airport with you. For those of you who really want the car seat on the plane I would recommend the gogo Kidz Travelmate, more on that later.

If you only have a few short drives at your destination you may want to consider a portable car seat. They are like vests that can be easily installed and used as a child restraint, and can be packed in your luggage. More on those later.

http://www.kidsflysafe.com are the authorized reseller of the CARES.

Feel free to email us at alwystraveling@gmail.com if you would like to rent one of our CARES.
